In the fatherline of Anaxagoras, Alme Z, Gotthard and Ladykiller xx have to be named as famous producers of jumping horses.
In the motherline there is to name first of all the French "Selle Francais" sire Cor de la Bryère, probably the most outstanding sire of the Holsteiner breed. Goodwill's father is the Irish thoroughbred Good Match xx und his mother goes back to Der Löwe xx, so there is much blood in the pedigree. The great-grandmother Eira by Einhard produced Werra (by Werther), winning Grand Prix show jumping under Nick Skelton, England. Eira's mother, St.Pr.St. Silberkunst, is the full sister to the Celler sire "Servus".
Anaxagoras was sold as a foal to the State Stud in Celle and was raised at the Stud for yound stallions in Hunnesrück. In 1997, he finished his 100-day-test in Adelheidsdorf with a final score of 114,37 and thus placed 9th of all stallions.
After the testing, Anaxagoras was sold and placed as a 5-year-old in jumping competitions for young horses. Since 2003 he has been ridden by Heinrich Bormann and has already won several S-jumping classes. In Isernhagen in 2006 Anaxagoras won 2 S-jumping classes and was 6th in the Grand Prix jumping competition. Until August 2008, 130 ribbons.
In 2007 and 2008, he won several S* jumping classes with his rider Heinrich Bormann, Göttingen, for exemple, in Wilkenburg, Bargstedt, Dobrock and Harsum.
Moreover, Anaxagoras became 2nd (2007) and 4th (2008) in the Lower Saxony Championships in Hanover with 17-year-old Kevin Knittel. |
