Caracalla descends in the 4th generation from Wolke. In 1998 she was awarded the state premium at the mare show in Ettenbüttel. She finished the mare performance test with 8,0 points (rideability 8,0, jumping 9,0) and thus became a member in the Hanoverian breeding program for show jumpers. Caracalla has had 12 foals in 12 breeding years so far (10 foals by Stakkato). In 2010 Caracalla is having a break. For 2011 Caracalla is in foal to Quaid (Quidam's Rubin - Voltaire).
Offspring
St.Pr.St. Parisienne (by Princeton)
Her oldest daughter Parisienne, *1998 by Princeton (Prince Thatch xx/Akut), received in 2000 as a 2-year-old a 1a-prize at the mare show in Ettenbüttel. In May 2001, Parisienne was awarded State Premium and got 8 foals in Vordorf before she was sold to Sottrum in 2009.
Streamer (by Stakkato)
Caracalla's son Streamer (*1999) won medium level show jumping ("Springpferde-Prüfungen Kl. M") as a 5-year-old in 2004. He later on died due to a routine operation.
Saracalla (by Stakkato)
Her daughter Saracalla (*2000) by Stakkato got a foal by Lancer III (see "Lucky Lue") in 2004. From 2006 to 2008 she has been trained as a jumper by Mynou Diederichsmeier in Berlin. In 2007 Saracalla successfully competed medium level jumper competitions (Kl. M**) and had several clear rounds in the Youngster Tour for 7- and 8-year-old jumpers, for exemple, at the German Classics in Hanover (10/25-28/07) with 2 clear rounds and just 1 time penalty.
Streamer II (by Stakkato)
The bay stallion, born 2001, was sold as a foal to the Landgestüt Celle. Unfortunately, he died there as a yearling due to an accident out in the fields.
Stalypso (by Stakkato)
In 2002, Caracalla got a bay colt by Stakkato "Stalypso". He was the top-colt of the foal show in Ahnsen. He also won the Regional championships of the winner foals of Lüneburg taking place in Schillerslage with a score of 9,3.
Stalypso was sold (as "Sarioso") for 55,000 Euros at the Verden Foal Auction in 2002 and thus topped the old price record. In October 2004 he was licensed at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden. He is owned by the Stud Sprehe. His first offspring was born in 2006.
Skylight (by Stakkato)
In 2003 Caracalla got another colt by Stakkato: "Skylight", but this time a Chestnut colt which was sold via the Verden foal auction to Spain. As a 5- and 6-year-old he is competing successfully in Spain.
Sarah (by Stolzenberg)
Sarah was sold as in 2004 via the foal auction to Lüneburg. She is now trained as a jumper in Westfalia.
Stella (by Stakkato)
In 2005, she got again a chestnut filly ("Stella") by Stakkato with a very nice head, a big eye and an exceptional trot which was also sold via the Verden foal auction to Spain.
Sunshine (by Stakkato)
In 2006 she got again a chestnut filly ("Sunshine") by Stakkato sold via the Verden foal auction to Holland. In 2009 as a 3-year-old, she was bred to Cornet Obolensky.
Skyhigh (by Stakkato)
In 2007 the third chestnut filly ("Skyhigh") by Stakkato was born which has its new home in England now.
Sacara (by Stakkato)
In 2008 she got a chestnut filly by Stakkato which very much looks like Caracalla's mother "Goldmaus". We sold her late 2010 to the south of Germany.
Stakina (by Stakkato)
In 2009 Caracalla got her 10th and last Stakkato foal: a bay filly. Stakina looks very much like her father Stakkato and will be kept in Vordorf.
Full sister Caracalla I
The one year older full sister of Caracalla II, named Caracalla I, was sold in 1993 via the Verden foal auction. She was also awarded the state premium and won the mare performance test in Göttingen with 8,14 points. Caracalla I was also bred to Stakkato. Her licenced son "Spaceman" was sold via the Münster/Handorf Körung in 2000 to the Netherlands.
More information on the offspring of Caracalla II is displayed in the familiy tree of Wolke.
