Cordoba, a granddaughter of Eira, had 15 foals in 15 breeding years. 3 of her sons are licensed stallions. Cordoba died in 2006 after the birth of her last filly.
Cordoba ressembled the sire Cor de la Bryère very much. Cordoba carried on the jumping bloodline of her grandmother Eira to her offspring.
Offspring
The first foal of Cordoba West Virginia, *1993 by Warkant, was sold in 1997 via the Verden Elite Auction at 80.000 DM to California and is now trained in dressage.
Cordoba’s son, the licensed grey stallion Anaxagoras, *1994 by the Holsteiner sire Athletico, was sold as a foal to the State Stud Celle and finished the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1997 with 114,37 points, thus placing 9th. Anaxagoras was than sold to a jumping stable near Aachen and competed successfully as a 6-year-old in show jumping ability competitions at medium level. Since 2003, ridden by Heinrich Bormann he has won and placed in several advanced-level jumping competitions.
Cordoba’s son, the licensed stallion Al Capone, *1996 by the Holsteiner sire Accord II, finished the stallion performance test in the State Stud Prussendorf / Radegast in 2000 with 118,30 points and placed 9th. This stallion shows an outstanding jumping ability. Al Capone was then sold to the USA.
Her colt Geronimo (picture on the left) *1998 by Graf Grannus, was licensed in January 2001 in Belgium. In March 2001, he was tested and approved under saddle. Later he was sold to the USA.
In 2001 Cordoba got a bay colt again by Perpignon "Paso Doble" (picture on the left) which was sold as a prospect jumper in 2005. Early in 2006 he already placed in show jumping ability competitions from A to M. In November 2006 Paso Doble was sold to Florida.
After the death of Cordoba we wellcome her daughter Thordia as new broodmare in our breeding team!
