As a 3-year-old, Costa Rica, descending in the 4th generation from St.Pr.St. Wolke, was awarded state premium mare at the mare show in Ettenbüttel and finished the mare performance test with 7,33 points. She had 12 foals in 15 breeding years.

Offspring

Her colt, born in 1999 (picture on the left), placed second at the "Bezirkstierschau" (regional foal and mare show) in Uelzen and was sold to the State Stud Celle. In 2002 "Eclypso" finished his 100-day-test at the "Hengstprüfungsanstalt" in Adelheidsdorf with 100 points and was licensed. Eclypso was later sold to Mexico.

In 2000 her 3-year-old daughter Elegance by Escudo I was awarded the state premium at the mare show in Königslutter.

In 2006 her daughter Hostess by Hofrat/Trak. was awarded state premium at the mare show in Ettenbüttel.

In 2006 she got a black filly "Desideria" by Don Crusador and died shortly after the birth of her last foal.
